Nick Lucey is a photographer, visual artist, and graphic designer with more than three decades of experience in fine art photography, graphic design, and digital mapmaking. His career began as a photojournalist in the U.S. Marine Corps (shooting and processing his own film in a darkroom), then went on to become a photojournalist for various magazines and newspapers, and finally, he became an established landscape and fine art photographer with his own gallery and studio in Castle Rock, Colorado. He creates unique photographic images and graphic designs on various mediums, including canvas, metal, wood, and paper. Wood Photo Prints
Our photography and digital art are printed directly on a 1.5″ thick maple wood frame with a smooth birch top and natural grain markings with an unfinished edge. Think of it as a sort of wooden canvas that doesn’t require a frame. The wood initially gets treated with a white base, which really makes the artwork come alive.
